His People, Cape Town is a city-wide church with six congregations: Baxter, City
Bowl, Kuilsriver, N1 City, Tokai and West Coast. As a church, we aim to be Christ-Centred
in all that we are and do and our primary purpose is to love God and to love people.
OUR MISSION is to honour God and advance His Kingdom by building a community of
believers from the campuses and communities of our city who will grow spiritually,
reach the lost and lead in all walks of life for the transformation of our city
and nation.
His People Church was established on the University of Cape Town campus in 1988.
Many students came to the Lord during those early years and soon UCT campus was
booming with young and energetic Christians. The flame soon spread to other campuses,
both in Cape Town and across South Africa. His People Bible School played a big
role in bringing Christians to maturity as they studied God's Word. Within a few
short years, His People churches, campus ministries and Bible Schools were established
in other nations including England and Central Europe. Today, His People Church
is a member of 'Every Nation', a world-wide family of churches and ministries. |
