So many times we are told to be deliberate with our outreach to others and many times people think that to go on “a mission trip” you have to leave the country. Although cross boarder missions are vital that doesn’t mean missions cannot happen locally and it was with this heart that Be a Blessing 4x4 outreach was started about four years ago.
Since then we have been making a difference in young people life’s from disadvantaged areas. We do this through something we love called offroading. This event happens once a quarter and is fully funded by donations and sponsors. A particular day looks something like this; early morning pick up followed by driving to a 4x4 trail within 100Km from Cape Town. When we get there we do the trail; usually the vehicles are filled with screams and breathless moments and when we are done lunch is served followed by some games and the long road home.
